About

Why?

ReallyNotALeader.ca was created in response to Stephen Harper and the federal Conservatives’ lacklustre performance, and was directly motivated by the “Really not a leader” campaign that the Conservatives launched against leader of the federal Liberal party, Stéphane Dion. Though the Conservatives are not the only guilty party, such tacky and inane campaigning is frankly embarrassing and demeaning to Canadians’ intelligence.

My purpose with ReallyNotALeader.ca is simply to get people to think about what it really means to be a political leader, and to show how Stephen Harper has fairly consistently failed to demonstrate a number of qualities that any reasonable person, political biases aside, would agree are key to good leadership.

Who?

This site was created by by Luke Rodgers, a Torontonian who thinks Canada deserves better federal leadership.
